The Air Force Command Headquarters expressed today (5th) that, a F-16 fighter jet belonging to the Chiayi Air Base showed signs of abnormal vibration in the left main wheel during touchdown at 1049 AM in a flight exercise launched at 0945 AM. The pilots managed to stop the plane on the west side of the runway at the 7500 feet mark. After the plane had touched down, investigations show that the plane had only suffered minor damages and the personnel were unharmed. The details and causes of the abnormality are still under investigation by relevant departments and the Air Force Command Headquarters expressed their regrets for the disruption caused to the commercial flights
